Where: the sign up page, then the setup checklist that follows you around the dashboard A merchant lands, picks that they are a business owner, creates the workspace, and then works through a checklist that unlocks the rest of the product. Nothing else in Paydai works properly until payments are connected.

Connect a calendar	Calendly or GoHighLevel, so setters can book meetings that get credited	✅
Set your payout schedule	Choose when the team gets paid, before any money moves. Frequency in days (minimum 3), weeks or months (minimum 1)	⚙️
Payment method fees	Tell Paydai what percentage each buy now pay later provider charges, so commission maths is right	✅
Share your stats	Generate a post ready card of your numbers for X or LinkedIn	⚙️
Fraud prevention notice	A banner explaining the checks Paydai runs before money leaves the account	✅

Watch out for

The checklist is not the same length for every merchant.

Connect your Whop company appears only for Whop merchants.
Set your payout schedule appears only when Stripe or Fanbasis is connected. A Whop only merchant sets the schedule in Settings instead and never sees this step.
Share your stats appears only once the workspace has revenue worth sharing.

Count the steps on your own account before anyone promises you “seven steps and you are done”.

Finishing the checklist hides the progress widget. If you want it back on screen, there is nothing left to do.
