# Payment links
> Generate your own checkout links and record deals you closed.

A payment link is the URL you send a customer to pay. You see a read only version of the merchant's products, and you can turn them into links of your own.

Adding a sale needs at least one payment provider connected. On some workspaces closers are blocked from creating products entirely, which changes what the menu offers.
Reusable links and buy now pay later are switched on per workspace. If the option is not on your form, it is off for you.
Credit the setter on the link at the time you create it. It is much easier than asking the merchant to add them to the sale afterwards.
